Pro & Free Trial
Key Launcher is free to use, with a generous trial of all premium features and an optional one-time or annual upgrade for power users.
The Free Trial
Every new install starts with a 30-day free trial that unlocks all Pro features, so you can configure the launcher exactly how you like before deciding.
After the trial ends, Key Launcher never deletes your configuration. It transitions through three states:

| Grace Period | Days 30–44 (14 days) | Read-only. Settings you already configured keep working, but you can't add new Pro items. Backup & Restore is unlocked for free so you can safely export your setup. |
| Trial Expired | Day 45+ | Soft revert. Pro settings stop applying at runtime but remain saved in storage. Purchasing Pro instantly "revives" your exact previous configuration. |
info Because your configuration is preserved (not erased), upgrading at any point — even months later — restores everything you had set up.
Pro Plans
Open the upgrade screen from Settings > Upgrade to Pro, or by searching pro / upgrade in Universal Search. Two plans are offered through Google Play:
- Annual: A yearly subscription, best for long-term users. May include an introductory free-trial period as shown on the purchase sheet.
- Lifetime: A single one-time payment — pay once, enjoy Pro forever.
Billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed in Google Play Store > Payments & subscriptions.
What Pro Unlocks
The free plan is fully usable, but caps a few features. Pro removes those caps and unlocks extras:
Features that are fully Pro-only (free plan can't use them at all):
- Focus Mode (Super Focus) and Synced Lyrics.
- Calculator Mode (long-press
*on the T9 keyboard). - Custom icon packs and custom interface fonts.
- Widget Center custom background (color or image) and adjustable grid columns.
- Automatic wallpaper change.
- Extra app drawer pages.
- Backup & Restore settings (also unlocked during the trial and grace period).
Features that are capped on free and uncapped on Pro:
- Private Vault: 1 app on free → unlimited.
- Super Shortcuts: 3 on free → unlimited.
- Widget Center widgets: 3 on free → unlimited.
- Discover Feed articles: 30 on free → unlimited.
- Discover Feed sources: 3 enabled at once on free → unlimited.
- Pinned apps on the home grid: limited on free → unlimited.
- App time limits: 1 app on free → unlimited.
Always free (no upgrade needed): notification dots, quick actions, and a time limit on your first app.
Pro also removes all ads.
tips_and_updates If you hit a cap on the free plan, the launcher shows a small "Pro Feature" prompt rather than blocking you outright — your existing items keep working.
